So this week was always going to be challenging. A night out on Tuesday followed by a trip to Poland on Wednesday.
I’d managed to get out on Tuesday for a run. A decent half hour.
The rest of the week’s sessions were mostly absent. A combination of ice, sub-zero temperatures and many vodka…
Until Sunday, Sunday afternoon I finally galvanized myself floor a run. Despite snow, hail and wind. It felt really good. Whilst keeping my heart rate zones in the right range I managed to run my fastest 5k and 10k getting the latter ever closer to being sub-1hr. Super happy about that.
Not so good that I missed most of the week and my knee is really sore again.
