Firstly, don’t stress if you’re struggling to fit this ‘short workout’ into your day. Those gurus don’t acknowledge the reality of real life. What does it actually look like then? Something like this:
- Finish off your work/tasks (5 mins)
- Find your gear, get changed, get setup (5-10 mins)
- Exercising (30 mins)
- Putting everything away (5 mins)
- Grabbing a shower, getting changed (5-10 mins)
- Eating something pre-prepared (5 mins)
- Getting back to work/tasks (5 mins)
That 30 minute workout – it just took an hour to complete…

We all want quick fixes, but the truth is, consistency needs realistic expectations.
Next time you see ’30-minute workout’, block out an hour. You’ll be surprised how much better you feel when your expectations meet reality.
