Another week that has has absolutely flown by, it’s almost like it wasn’t here at all! It’s quite a nice thing to do, look back and reflect on what you’ve been doing in the last week. It feels like we did quite a bit, here’s a few of the more interesting (to us) things!
As always, Saturday was all about the house, it’s manual labour time. We’re continuing to put the internal walls up, it’s a slow task for us unprofessional house builders but so gratifying. It’s amazing working one week to the next how more and more like a house it feels. We’ve nearly finished the office. Starting to visualise and imaging how it’s going to look once completed in the real room.

Of course we did some running, that’s a given! This weekend was spent a little closer to home. An easy 45 minutes on Saturday evening followed up by another Sunday, funday long run. Sunday saw us get past the 13km mark on pretty flat trails. It was windy, rainy and the views weren’t quite as enticing as last week. We’ll mark that one up as “getting it done” as opposed to “inspirational”.

We also posted about the current state of our running challenge (Day 131 complete!). It’s all about how we built the running habit and really saw improvements. You can read that one here.

It was also a week of personal bests, with Gabby and Liam getting Personal Bests at 5km on Wednesday evening. Gabby followed that up with a 10km Personal Best on Sunday. You can’t really ask for any more than that!
We also had some time out to watch a few more videos on YouTube, there’s so much stuff to get you excited about almost any subject. This week was mostly about Trail Running. This was our favourite film of the weekend – background story, visuals, making you want to get out and hit the trails, all the good things! Enjoy!
