Another weekend down and it feels like our feet didn’t touch the floor. So what was going on at Powered by Rabbit Food HQ?
First up, we worked on the house. We’ve started to really get going with putting up the boards on the office. Most of the house now has the internal membrane over the insulation which means it’s starting to look more like rooms and less like a skeleton. Really exciting to see the changes!

Second up, and along a similar theme. We’ve been shopping, thanks to the lovely Black Friday we’ve managed to get our flooring for the whole house (minus bathrooms) sorted and saved about a third off the price we were going to pay. We’ve also bought our fire place for the living room. It’s all becoming real!
Thirdly, as part of the above shopping, we stopped in at Ikea and tried out their vegan “meat” balls and they were good!

Fourth, we got to test out our new night running lights that we grabbed from Decathlon. (These ones if you’re interested). We both found them really good and had no problems seeing on a trail run on Sunday night.

Fifth, Yoga. We’ve started to practice yoga, after almost literally years of trying on and off. Liam normally gets annoyed because even the basic moves are beyond his level of flexibility. We’ve recently discovered Yoga With Adriene on YouTube and she seems to have it dialled in on catering for both the flexible (Gabs) and the none-flexible alike. Here’s one that we did over the weekend. Well worth a try.
Looking forward to the week, it’s going to be a fun one, it’s the first week of the 16 week Garmin Marathon training plan and we’ve got a Santa fun run on Sunday up in Puławy.
